John de Pierrepont 
John was born in 1257 in Holme Pierrepont, Nottinghamshire, England.1 John's father was Lord Henry de Pierrepont and his mother was Annora Manvers. His paternal grandparents were Henry de Pierrepont and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Michael Manvers and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and a sister, named Simon, Roger, Robert and Edeline. He was the second oldest of the five children.
