Duc Frederic de Lorraine II 
Frederic was born in 1171 in Lorraine, France.1 Frederic's father was Duc Frédéric von Lothringen I and his mother was Ludmilla von Polen. His paternal grandparents were Duc Matthias de Lorraine I and Bertha von Schwaben. He had three sisters named Judith, Hedwig and Kunigunde. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 42 on October 10th, 1213.1 General Notes
