Almodis de la Haute Marche

Almodis was born in 1000 in Toulouse, France.¹ Almodis' father was Bernard de la Marche I and her mother was Countess Amelie Aubnay. Her paternal grandparents were Adalbert de la haute Marche and Almode de Limoges; her maternal grandparents were Cadelon Aubnay III and <Unknown>. She had a brother and a sister, named Alberic III and Rangearde. She was the oldest of the three children. She died due to murder / assassination at the age of 71 on November 16th, 1071.¹
