Sir John de Arderne of Aldford 
John was born in 1327 in Alvanley, Cheshire, England.1 John's father was John de Arderne and his mother was Alice Venables. His paternal grandparents were Sir John de Arderne and Margery verch Gruffydd; his maternal grandparents were Sir Hugh de Venables of Kinderton and Agatha de Vernon. He was an only child. He died at the age of 52 in 1379 in Runcom, Cheshire, England.1 General Notes
