Coel, known as Old King, was born in 0350 in Yorkshire, Prydain.1   Old King's father was King of the Britons Meric and his mother was Julia of the Iceni.  His paternal grandparents were Arviragus Gweirydd ap Cynefelyn and Genuissa Claudia of Rome; his maternal grandparents were Prasutagus of the Iceni and Queen of the Iceni Boadicea. He had two brothers named Eurgen and Owain.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 70 in 0420 in Coilsfield, Tarbolton, Ayrshire.1
