Walter 
Walter was born on February 28th, 1887 in Rockingham Co, NC. Walter's father was James Ellis Roberts and his mother was Louise D. Sneed. His paternal grandparents were Martin Roberts and Elizabeth Gilliland. He had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Richard M., James Henry, Samuel Ayers, William Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Ann Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Margaret Malinda, Sarah M., Gillie Virginia and Susan Frances. He died at the age of 43 in 1930.General Notes
