William Thornton Sr. 
William was born in 1620 in Yorkshire, England.1 William's father was William Thornton and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were William Thornton and Frances Robinson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 88 in 1708 in Stafford County, Virginia.1 -
