Catherine Stirling 
Catherine was born about 1335 in Glenesk, Angusshire, Scotland.1 Catherine's father was Sir John Stirling and her mother was Barbara de Swinburne. Her paternal grandparents were Sheriff of Stirling John de Strivelyn and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Adam de Swinburne and <Unknown>. She had a brother and two sisters, named William, Marjory and Jean. She was the second oldest of the four children.-
