Sir William Stanley of Hooten

William was born in 1361 in Wirral Forest, Cheshire, England.¹ William's father was Sir William Stanley Lord of Stourton and his mother was Alice Massey. His paternal grandparents were Lord John Stanley of Stourton and Mabella Hausket; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Massey and Matilda Timberley. He had a brother named John. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 66 on February 28th, 1427 in Hooton, Cheshire, England.¹
