Floyd Mae was born in 1909 in Green County, Kentucky. Floyd Mae's father was Jefferson Henry Skaggs and her mother was Claudie Ethel Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were William Skaggs and Lou Keith. She had a sister named Lillie Alice. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 91 on October 22nd, 2000 in Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She is buried in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.General Notes

OBITUARY; Floyd Mae Boles, 91, died Sunday at Norton Suburban Hospital. She was the former Floyd Skaggs, a native of Green County, a retired employee of the blending department at Philip Morris USA, where she worked 29 years, and a member of Gospel Kingdom Church.
Survivors: a son, Elwood Boles; a sister, Lilly A. Skaggs, who cared for her; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Owen 5317 Dixie Highway. Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 2-9 p.m. Tuesday.
