Elizabeth Romney

Elizabeth was born in 1506 in Detton, Neen Savage, Shropshire, England.¹   Elizabeth's father was William Romney and her mother was Margery Bairghill.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Rompeney and Solley; her maternal grandparents were William Bairghill and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John and Alice.  She was the second youngest of the four children.
