Jacob Pirtle

Jacob was born on April 6th, 1783 in Berkeley Co., Virginia.¹ Jacob's father was Henry Pirtle and his mother was Mary Viney. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Pirtle and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Viney and Susannah. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, George, Henry, Thomas, Isaac, Abner, Artemesia, Mary, Keziah, Elizabeth and Cassandra. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
