Domnall O'Neill 
Domnall was born in 0925.1 Domnall's father was Muircheartach mac Niall and his mother was Flann ingen Donnchad. His paternal grandparents were Niall Glundub O'Neill and Gormflaith ingen Flann. He was an only child. He died at the age of 55 in 0980 in Armagh, Ireland.1 General Notes

Called Domnall of Armagh or Donald O'Neill. The "O" in O'Neill stands for Ua or grandson, thus O'Neill means grandson of Niall. He defeated the Danes of Lough Neagh, destroying their entire Fleet of ships. He was the first High King to use a hereditary surname.
