Philippe III of Navarre King of Navarre 
Philippe III of was born on March 27th, 1306.1 Philippe III of's father was Louis d'Evreux Count d'Evreux et d'Etampes and his mother was Marguerite d'Artois Heiress of Brie-Comte-Robert. His paternal grandparents were Philip III (the Bold of) France King of France and Marie (Mary) de Brabant. He was an only child. He died due to in battle at the age of 37 on September 16th, 1343 in Jerez de la Frontera.2 Death Notes
While taking part in the Spanish _Reconquista_ in 1343, Philippe was mortally wounded and died on 16 September 1343 in Jerez de la Frontera. He was succeeded by his son Charles, who would rule as Charles II 'le Mauvais' ('the Bad'), king of Navarre
