Robert Legh III 
Robert was born in 1382 in Adlington, Cheshire, England.1 Robert's father was Sir Robert Legh II and his mother was Isabel Belgrave. His paternal grandparents were Robert of Legh and Matilda de Arderne; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Belgrave and Joan de Pulford. He was an only child. He died at the age of 33 on September 26th, 1415.1 General Notes
Robert Legh of Adlington, Esq., son and heir, according to the inquisition 3rd of Henry V, 1416. He married Matilda ....., who remarried William de Honford. He held in demesne as of fee, two parts of the manor of Adlington, also Iands in Bollington, Macclesfield and Stockport.
