Robert E.'s father was Robert E. Lee and his mother was Marian Rebecca Klyce. His maternal grandparents were Harvey Asbury Klyce and Caroline Carr Gray. He had a brother named Douglas. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Harvey Herbert, Everett Klyce, Carol June and Betty Jane.General Notes
