David Laird 
David was born on June 1st, 1807 in Augusta County, Virginia. David's father was James Laird and his mother was Jane Kerr. His maternal grandparents were James Kerr and Jane Robertson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Kerr Jr., John, Nathaniel, Jane, Anna, Elizabeth and Margaret "Peggy". He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.General Notes
