Constine Emilous was born on May 27th, 1903 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Constine Emilous' father was Emilous Jackson Grogan and his mother was Elizabeth Virginia Smith. His paternal grandparents were Constant T. Grogan and Frances Elizabeth Price. He had five brothers and nine sisters, named Honor Johnson, Shular Gray, James Robert, Buford Bennett, Cecil Herman, Hester, Posie Jackson, Josie Beulah, Dorthea, Nora Elizabeth, Rosie Lee, Mollie Mae, Kathleen and Loula Hazel. He died at the age of 72 on February 29th, 1976 in Ayersville, Rockingham Co, NC. He was buried in Ayersville Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
