James Gilhagie

James was born on November 25th, 1623 in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland and his confirmation took place on November 25th, 1623 in High Church, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.¹   James' father was Ninian Gilhagie and his mother was Margaret Woddrop.  His paternal grandparents were Ninian Gilhagie and Catherine Arneill. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Niniane, Isobell, Barbara, Isobell, Catherine, Margaret and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
