James E. Evans 
James E. was born on July 11th, 1907 in Bledsoe Co, TN. James E.'s father was Edward Evans and his mother was Margaret Lou Simmons. His maternal grandparents were Rev. Simon Dillard Simmons and Mary Lucinda Lawson. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert S., Lewis A., Winton E., John Austin, Isome Clinton, Howard and Lora A.. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 88 on October 8th, 1995 in Pikeville, Bledsoe Co, TN. He was buried in Blackburn Cemetery, Bledsoe Co, TN.General Notes
