John Cushing

John was born on April 5th, 1773.¹ John's father was John Cushing and his mother was Olive Wallingford. His maternal grandparents were Thomas WALLINGFORD and Elizabeth Swett. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Wallingford, Samuel Wallingford, Thomas Wallingford, William, Charles, Frederick, Augustus, John S. T., Olive, Elizabeth and Mary Hamilton. He was the oldest of the twelve children.
