Harry Flinchum was born in 1914 in Henry Co, VA. Harry Flinchum's father was Jesse Edward Cox and his mother was Talitha Banner Harris. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Ben Cox and Martha Dallas Cox. He had four sisters named Elizabeth Mason, Lorraine Juanita, Mildred Nadine and Helen Lucille.
