Harriet Ann Childers

Harriet was born on September 7th, 1847 in Green Co., Kentucky.¹   Harriet's father was James Childers and her mother was Mahala Scott.  Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Childers and Frances (Frankie) Crane; her maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Mary (Polly) Scott. She had two brothers and six sisters, named William, Milton, Susan, Mary, Nancy, Martha, Elizabeth and Ellen.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 76 on October 11th, 1923 in Larue Co., Kentucky.  She was buried in Poplar Grove Church Cemetery, Taylor Co., Kentucky.^2 1
