William Cary

William was born in 1492 in Clovelley, Devonshire, England. William's father was Robert Cary and his mother was Jane Carew. His maternal grandparents were Nicholas Carew and Margaret de Dinham. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Jane and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 80 on March 28th, 1572 in St. Nicholas, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.
