William Carter

William was born in 1502 in St. Albans (St. Stephen), England.¹ William's father was Thomas Carter and his mother was Emily Anstell. His paternal grandparents were William Carter and Alice Croxton. He had three brothers named Richard, John and William. He was the second oldest of the four children.
