Nevin Plato was born on May 3rd, 1915 in Gaston Co, NC. Nevin Plato's father was William Mason Carpenter and his mother was Cora Eva Mae Mauney. His maternal grandparents were Jefferson Jackson Mauney and Georgeanna Roberts. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Coy, Olaf Nezra, A. D., George Alvin, Edith Mae, Mazel and Lorene. He died at the age of 85 on September 26th, 2000 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co, NC. He was buried on September 29th, 2000 in Kings Mountain Chapel Cemetery, Filbert, York Co, SC.General Notes
