James Carlisle 
James was born in 1839.1 James' father was James S. Carlisle and his mother was Jane Reeves. His maternal grandparents were John Reeves and Catherine Perry. He had a brother and six sisters, named George, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Eliza, Martha and Nancy. He was the third youngest of the eight children.
