Francis COURTENAY 
Francis was born in 1651. Francis' father was William COURTENAY and his mother was Margaret WALLER. His paternal grandparents were Francis COURTENAY and Elizabeth SEYMOUR. He had eight brothers and eight sisters, named William, Edward, George, James, Richard, George, Henry, William, Lucy, Elizabeth, Isabell, Ann, Margaret, Jane, Mary and Dorothy. He was the third oldest of the seventeen children. He died at the age of 48 in 1699. He was buried on May 12th, 1699 in Chelsea.1 General Notes
