Martha Bugg

Martha was born on May 5th, 1767.¹ Martha's father was John Bugg and her mother was Lucy Pennington. Her paternal grandparents were John Bugg and Susanna Frances Burleson; her maternal grandparents were William Pennington and Mary. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Benjamin, Zachariah, John, William, Jesse, Mary, Frances, Sarah, Elizabeth, Rebeckah, Lucy and Nancy. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.
