Margaret was born in 1436 in Lonsborough, Yorkshire, England. Margaret's father was Henry Bromflete and her mother was Eleanor Fitzhugh. Her paternal grandparents were Sir Thomas Bromflete Sherrif of Yorkshire and Margaret Saint John; her maternal grandparents were 3rd Baron Fitzhugh of Ravnsworth Henry Fitzhugh and Elizabeth Grey. She had two half-sisters named Elizabeth and Margery. She died at the age of 57 on April 12th, 1493 in Lonsborough, Yorkshire, England.General Notes
