Mary Borthwick

Mary was born in 1471 in Nenthorn, Lothian, Scotland.¹ Mary's father was Sir William of Borthwick and her mother was Mariota Hoppringill. Her paternal grandparents were William Borthwick and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Adam, Alexander, Agnes, Catherine, Christine and Margaret. She was the third youngest of the eight children.
