George Leslie Best 
George Leslie was born in 1925. George Leslie's father was Walter Timothy Best and his mother was Katherine Lea Adelman. His paternal grandparents were George Best and Sarah Francis Fulkerson. He had a brother and four sisters, named Edward Stephen, Lena Frances, Miriam Eloise, Dorothy Lea and Helen Reid. He was the third youngest of the six children.General Notes
He went by the nickname "Bud." He was owner of Owensboro Linoleum andTile, and a Deacon with the Third Baptist Church.
