Isaac was born on March 4th, 1834 in Marion County, Kentucky.¹ Isaac's father was Joseph Allen and his mother was Nancy Harris. His paternal grandparents were William Allen and Mary Rollison. He had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph, Mary, Elizabeth and Susan. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 79 on March 4th, 1913.¹
