John was born about 1719 and his baptism took place on December 6th, 1719 in North Bradley.1  John's father was Edward Wingrove and his mother was Mary Harper.  His maternal grandparents were Arthur Harper and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Edward, Richard, Mary and Jane. He had a foster sister named Mary.
