John's baptism took place on September 15th, 1734 in North Bradley.1  John's father was Stephen Whatly and his mother was Ann Barnet. He had a brother and four sisters, named David, Sarah, Mary, Mary and Sarah.  He died in 1735.  He was buried on April 30th, 1735 in North Bradley.2
