Job was born about 1798 and his baptism took place on January 5th, 1809 in North Bradley.1  Job's father was Joseph Townsend and his mother was Mary.  His paternal grandparents were Walter Townsend and Hannah Mile. He had four brothers and three sisters, named George, John, James, Joseph, Hannah, Mary and Elizabeth.
