Joseph's baptism took place on March 19th, 1699 in North Bradley.1  Joseph's father was Roger Silverthorn and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Roger Silverthorne and Mary Harper. He had a brother and two sisters, named Roger, Mary and Sarah.  Joseph and Mary were twins.
