Jane was born on January 23rd, 1816 in Silver Street.1   Jane's father was Samuel Randle and her mother was Mary. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James, William, Levi, Hanna, Elizabeth, Martha and Ann.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
