Ann was born in 1799 and her baptism took place on January 12th, 1809 in North Bradley.1  Ann's father was Thomas Pond and her mother was Martha Garret.  Her maternal grandparents were Christopher Garrett and Sarah Bridges. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Thomas, Catharine, Mary, Betty and Rebecca.
