Thomas was born about 1797 and his baptism took place on September 27th, 1812 in North Bradley.1  Thomas' father was Thomas Perrott and his mother was Ann Read.  His paternal grandparents were John Perrett and Martha Reynolds. He had three sisters named Jane, Ann and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the four children.
