Elizabeth was born about March 1810 and her baptism took place on June 17th, 1810 in North Bradley.1  Elizabeth's father was John Hale and her mother was Grace Reynolds Wereat.  Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Wereat and Miss Lanham Grace Reynolds. She had five brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Edward, John, Chas., Henry and Maria.  Samuel and Elizabeth were twins.
