Catherine was born about 1796 and her baptism took place on October 15th, 1797 in North Bradley.1  Catherine's father was John Francis and her mother was Grace Keats. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, John, Elisha, James, Mary, Joanna and Jane.
