Robert's baptism took place on December 26th, 1746 in North Bradley.1  Robert's father was Samuel Butcher and his mother was Mercy Francis.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Butcher Jun. and Mary. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Mercy.  He died in 1752.  He was buried on February 22nd, 1752 in North Bradley.2
