John's baptism took place on December 25th, 1793 in North Bradley.1  John's father was Benjamin Blanchard (Blanchett) and his mother was Elizabeth Gibbs.  His paternal grandparents were John Blanchard and <Unknown>. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Ann.
