George Purchas Goad

George was born on 16-Feb-1814 and was baptised on 15-Jun-1814 in Fort St George, Madras, Tamil Nadu, India.¹

George's father was Samuel Thomas Goad and his mother was Jane M. His paternal grandparents were William Goad and Darling Thomas. He was the fifth of seven children. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, William, Henry, Charles, Anna and Maria. He died, at the age of 34, on 14-Jul-1848. His burial was in Jullundur, India.²
