Christopher was born on March 23rd, 1730.1   Christopher's father was Richard Goad and his mother was Frances Yate.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Goad and Hannah Atkinson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Joseph, Hannah and Ruth.  He was the second youngest of the five children.
