Eveline was born in March 1885 in Bromley.1   Eveline's father was Frederick Blanchard Robinson and her mother was Hannah Eliza Fenton.  Her maternal grandparents were William Fenton and Hannah Wood. She had a brother and a sister, named Frederick and Mabel.

Eveline and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony in September 1917.1
