Sarah was born on October 11th, 1858 in Frome, Somerset.¹

Sarah's father was Nathaniel Beaven and her mother was Sarah Coombs. Her paternal grandparents were Job Beaven and Eliza Hancock. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Luke, Alice, Rose, Florence and Ida. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 88 on October 22nd, 1946 in North Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. She was buried on October 25th, 1946 in Providence.²²
