Hugh (Aodhan) was born on July 14th, 1920. Hugh (Aodhan)'s father was Hugh O'Brien Moran and his mother was Jane (Jenny) McDermot. His paternal grandparents were James Hishon Moran and Clare Eileen McDermott; his maternal grandparents were Edward (E.J.) John McDermot and Mary Donellan. He had two brothers and a sister, named Seamus, Eadbhard and Clare. He died at the age of 84 in 2004.
