Daniel Cullow 
Daniel was born in 1801 in Clare, Ireland.1 He died due to Intemperance & Exposure at the age of 55 on December 8th, 1856 in Melbourne, Victoria. The funeral took place on December 10th, 1856 in Mr. O'Lary's, off Little Bourke-street west, Melbourne, Vic. and was arranged by Thomas Jennings, Undertaker, Queen Street, Melbourne, Victoria. He was buried on December 10th, 1856 in Old Cemetery, Melbourne, Victoria.2 3 1 Death Notes
Daniel died about 18 months after his wife, Winifred, from “intemperance and exposure”. His Death Certificate told nothing of his parents, marriage or family. He must have been apart from his family at his death. We can only surmise the circumstances.

"THE Friends of the late DANIEL CULLOO are respectfully invited to follow his remains, from the residence of Mr. O'Lary's, off Little Bourke-street west (opposite the St. John's Tavern), to the Old Cemetery. The funeral to move this day, 10th December, at three o'clock.
